Trip to California

We had a great time on our trip to California. Cameron was baptized on Saturday, September 5th. It was very special. We all had a part in the program. I lead the music and played for the special number. The bapism candidates and their siblings sang. Ron was a witness. Clint's mother gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. We went over to Mari's ward building afterwards for a dinner. Yummy! They invited many nonmember friends and teachers of the children to the baptism. The dinner gave them a chance to ask questions. It was a nice missionary moment. Sunday was Cameron's confirmation. We spent Sunday together and then Ron and I drove home on Monday.

Catch Up on the News

I'm back to school. I have 12 students so far this year. (three kinders, 4 first and 5 second graders) We are doing great together. Today was pay day so I went to town and got a few new clothes to wear. I needed something new to go with my new teeth! lol

Looks like Parker and Cameron had a great first day! I hope Jace did too (without his brothers at home).

I got home from the first day and we had no water in our house. But we called the pump guys and they fixed it ($1300.00). Wow, I came close to not having a shower this morning. But thanks to the Baker boys, we've got water again. I don't even want to imagine what those pioneer women went through.

Congrats to Charlee-pooh who can now climb stairs! No rest for Mom now!

It's looks like Rachel and Audge had fun at the parade. Congrats are also in order to Audge for a new tooth.

Riley Jo is in Boise this week! She misses us.

Bryson got a lot of new clothes at the shower. OK, so now I want him to get here real soon. He will be so cute in those new outfits. Especially the John Deere duds Brian got him. (John Deere booties)

Looking forward to my organ weekend in Utah and spending the next weekend in Dublin.

Congrats to Steph!

We are so proud of Stephanie for going for her goals with real conviction. I mean real conviction. With a broken femur and a dislocated elbow and many stitches, she marched forward to finish her degree in a wheelchair and a smile on her face. It teaches us that to some degree in our efforts we never do it alone. Aren't we so grateful for family and good friends and our Heavenly Father so nearby at all times? Congrats, Steph! We are looking forward to seeing you on Friday walk across the stage for your diploma.
