Conference Weekend At Our House

Valerie and Dan arrived late Friday evening with children in tow. Baby Charlotte got passed around and around and around.

Ron got caught sneeking candy from the cupboard when I snapped this picture.

We also have had a skunk living under the deck steps. He left a little present for Ron to clean up which meant he had to disassemble the steps to get at the mess. We then plugged the sides so he couldn't get back in. He did try to move the jug we used to plug the hole. He couldn't get in so he just abandoned the corn stalk in the flower bed.

Yes, he had hauled several stalks of corn from Osterhout's garden. Megan said, "The neighbors probably think you are stealing their corn!"

Ron will spend tomorrow closing the ends of the steps permanently.

The kids loved the toys. Pierce asked Grandpa if he could live here because he likes our house.

Riley had a great time with her cousins EXCEPT when one of them wanted to sit on Grandpa's lap. The jealousy was rampant this weekend. Caroline wasn't happy about sharing Grandpa or her mom when the baby needed to eat. Nanna saved the day though.

Elicia visited each day and loved holding the baby every chance she could.

Pierce loves watching movies in Nanna's room on the soft rug.

Caroline wasn't too keen on naps with so much going on in the house. I'm sure the fact the Pierce kept going in there to watch movies didn't help.

Dan did the dishes. We had chicken rolls for dinner in between sessions.

Boomer loved holding the babies, too.

Megan is working in Boise this week so she cut her weekend short and drove to her Grandma's house Sunday afternoon.

Cory listened to Banjo music on the computer in between sessions.

Conference highlights for us included the announcement of five new temples and listening to President Monson. We also watched the bio of President Monson on Sunday between sessions. He is truly amazing.
