This is a picture of the group from France that we hosted during the International Dancers Week. The lady in the middle is Ion. She and I lived in Springdale during my growing up years. She is dear to me. She helped take care of my family in the days and weeks following my mother's death and also was good friends with my grandmother. On the first day when we met to pick up the French kids, she was standing there and I couldn't believe it. It had been years since I had seen her. I was grateful for this experience last summer.
