We just got back from Pullman to visit Melanie and Jake's family. Valerie and her children went with us. We had a great time.
We left on Saturday and stopped in Nampa to pick up Melanie. She stayed the week with Jackie and we gave her a ride home. We took two cars in order to get her home.
Pierce and Porter took time out while we packed the car to have a dandy sword fight.
On Tuesday morning we went to Ferdinand's on WSU campus to see how they make ice cream and cheese. They have their own dairy on campus and they ship the milk over to the factory.
We went to church with Melanie on Sunday. Her chapel sits on a hill (everything sits on a hill) across the street from the campus and not far from Jake's laboratory he works in.
We also went to see the grizzly bears on campus. They have a place for bear research and the all eleven bears were out on Monday. This guy was pretty lively. We watched him the most.
Caroline had a particularly rough time in Pullman and so she rode with us so she wouldn't get upset about anything. She watched movies and played. Ron drove and I worked hard on my music theory.
We had a great time. Thanks Mel and Jake for everything. We always eat like kings at their house. We will also be looking forward to an episode of The Office on another trip.
