A New Smile! (You won't want to miss this post)

As many of you know I was born with really weird front teeth. I had a peg lateral and a missing tooth. Years ago I had braces and moved my teeth so that I could have a bridge which made up for the missing tooth and some composite material put on my peg lateral so that it looked somewhat normal.
A few months ago my dentist (Dr. John Simpson, also my brother-in-law) decided I needed a new bridge and Lumineers to really fix my smile. So.....the first step was braces (again) which I wore for about a month. They moved my bridge tooth back a little and added enough space to get the lumineers on the rest of the teeth.

The next step was taking off the brackets, taking off the bridge, putting a temporary bridge on, taking off the composite around the peg lateral and wearing a retainer for three weeks while my teeth were being made. Yesterday I went in and they took off the temporary bridge. It looks pretty yucky and I couldn't resist having my picture taken so you could see how I started out and how I've ended up.

This picture, though somewhat blurry, shows what I look like without all the work done.

And Tah-Dah here is my new smile!!! Pretty amazing, isn't it.

I am very grateful. John and his staff are incredible. They were so good and so professional. The credit goes to them that I look ten years younger.
