I Had a Great Birthday!

I had a great birthday. I was able to sleep in because it was a snow day. I had lunch (shrimp basket) with my friends (Jan paid) at the Albion Cafe. I went shopping with Ron in Twin and bought myself a pair of Sketchers (thank you, Mari). My sister came to the Albion Community Christmas Program and gave me a knitted dish rag that I love. My family called and sang Happy Birthday or gave me a card or posted a blog (thanks Val and Heidi) sent a message on facebook (thanks, Lisa and Bev). And...(drum roll) my husband gave me a dozen red roses. We would have sat in the hot tub just before bedtime but it was 18 degrees outside and I wasn't up to it.
I was thinking how I could remember how old I was and realized I was born in 1954 and I'm 54 so that will be easy for this year, at least. Thanks, everybody!
